The final outdoor competition of the season took place at Geldeston Hall on Sunday 19th October. The early morning was not promising with it being wet and windy. However by 9am the sun came out and the going was great and a good turn out was had.
The wind continued to blow which was challenging for ‘Camelot’ (the secretary’s tent). We are extremely grateful to a Geldeston tenant for helping rescue and secure down ‘Camelot’ on Saturday afternoon.
After a few minor hiccups at the beginning of the day everything ran pretty smoothly and no major incidents.
As always we are deeply indebted to all the jump judges, stewards and other volunteers that give their time and help make these days as enjoyable and safe for the competitors.
