Junior Area 14 Chairmans Trophy won by BBRC Juniors 2013
The BBRC AGM and Trophy Presentation evening took place at Gillingham Village Hall on Saturday 30th November.
The evening commenced with reports from the Chair – Marcia Fenwick, Secretary – Marie Owen, Treasurer – Diane Deller and the Senior and Junior team managers – Corinne Bullock and Helen Regan.
An unexpected, but well deserved surprise, was the announcement that the BRC Area 14 Chairmans Junior Trophy was won this year by Beccles and Bungay RC Juniors. The trophy was presented to Helen Regan.
Both Senior and Junior teams have enjoyed success this season with the club teams representing Area 14 attending the BRC Festival of the Horse Championships at Aston Le Walls, the BRC Horse Trials Championships at Swalcliffe and the BRC National Championships at Lincoln.
We are extremely grateful to all the hard work and dedication from the team members, friends and family and not least the team managers for organising it all. Georgia Cattermole presented Helen with a small gift from the juniors as a token of their appreciation.
Election of officers took place. Sally Payne and Diane Deller stood down from the committee. We are grateful to them for their hard work in previous years and we will miss them. Sally and her husband Jeff will continue to organise the radios and other technical equipment for us. The other officers were re elected and three members were welcomed to the committee – Zoe Rafferty, Jane Powell and Claire Bodmer.
After a delicious supper the trophies were presented by our President Marie Mann. It was good to see the trophies and rosettes going to a wide spread of our members.

The evening ended with an excellent raffle organised by Michelle Kelly.
