QUIZ N CHIPS NIGHT
The Quiz and Chip Evening took place at Gillingham Village Hall on Wednesday 18th February.
Over sixty members and friends attended the club’s first fun event in the annual programme. The nine teams all showed strengths in the rather quirky quiz topics.
Quizmistress was Marcia Fenwick and our lovely new committee member Steve Small was a stylish scorer. The fish & chips supper was brilliantly organized by Michelle Kelly, and team Kelly led the effort in clearing up, so many thanks due to them.
Total scores overall were quite tight, with the ‘No Hopers’ and ‘Shameless & Nameless’ tying for first place with a very high score of 87 each. Congratulations to ‘Shameless’ for winning the oddball tie-breaker and collecting the red rosettes.
Other places as follows: 2nd ‘No Hopers’, 3rd 50 Shades of Bay, 4th Mix & Match, 5th Rosie’s Bunch, 6th The Plums. Well played also the Acorns, Norfolk n Good and Joyce’s Jokers.
