Not only is this Mothering Sunday, but also it is National Epilepsy Awareness day (Purple day), and to show your support, we are asking that you might like to wear something purple and please donate on the day at the event. There will be a collection box in the scoring office. The purple item doesn’t have to be on show. It can be an odd sock, an earring, or the complete look with purple jods and shirt. Or just kindly donate the loose change in your pocket.
The charity we are donating to is the Daisy Garland charity, whose aim is to offer help and support to those whose lives are touched by drug resistant epilepsy, and they are funding a large number of Ketogenic Dietitians to provide help and support equipment for use at home.http://www.thedaisygarland.org.uk/
