Julie & 'Rambo' waiting to compete
Halesworth & District RC hosted the Indoor Winter Dressage Qualifier at Broads EC over the weekend of 30th November/1st December.
The juniors ran on the Saturday. BBRC were not represented and there were very few junior teams.
The senior competition took place on the Sunday. This was well supported with teams from most of the Area 14 clubs.
We were represented by one team. Julie Frost (Horse Heaven Rambo) and Emma Julian (Little Irish Magic) rode the Prelim tests. At the end of the Prelim’s we were in second place.
Caroline Oakes (Darcy) and Alison Rushmer (Maggie May) rode the Novice tests. Both have only recently been competing at this level for a short time compared with the majority of the other clubs Novice test horses and they performed well.
The final result saw our team finish in eighth place in the qualifier. High Fen RC won with Carousel RC in second place. We were in eleventh place in the Area only competition. This was won by Carousel with High Fen second.
