AUTUMN HUNTER TRIAL RESULTS

The Autumn Hunter Trial took place on Sunday 18th October. The conditions all round were rather wet to say the least but we had a good turn out. Thank you.

The courses rode well considering the conditions with several clear rounds in all classes.

There are some riders in Class 3 that may be confused as to why they are shown as eliminated when they believe they had a clear round. It is likely that you are one of the riders that took the easier route at Fence 17 Blue – the corner. If you took the wider palisade rather than the narrow corner then you were required to turn left and jump the second element. If you failed to do so then you make an error of course and as a consequence eliminated. This was marked on the course map and on the fence itself and displayed at the start box.

The results of Class 3 Sec A have also been amended. It appears in the heat of the moment following a rider fall the wrong score was entered on the fence score sheet. This was only spotted when the rider fall reports were checked in the evening. As a consequence some places are been altered. If you are affected and would like the correct rosette please contact Jane Powell on janepowell10@gmail.com. Please accept our apologies for this mistake.

We are once again extremely grateful to all our volunteers who helped us on the day and were prepared to take their cars over very wet and muddy ground to jump judge. Without your willingness to do this we would not have been able to run the day. Fortunately only one got stuck and was quickly released. Thanks also to Susannah Close and Sadie Tattersall and their trusty steeds who braved the elements collecting the scores.

Results are shown below.
